In the style of the late, great Martin Luther King Jr.'s Beloved Community, Peace Lutheran Church has become a powerful testament to the spirit of love through our commitment to hospitality. Our desire to serve the wider community has provided numerous organizations (both religious and secular) with a place to call home. We welcome anyone, regardless of identity, so long as they are willing to share in our vision of living in the body of Christ.
The Apostle Paul writes: "Each one of us has a body with many parts, and these parts all have different uses. In the same way, we are many, but in Christ we are all one body. We all have different gifts, each of which came because of the grace of God." This central passage is the cornerstone of our ministry and the basis of all our covenants.
By sharing the many gifts we've gathered through partnership, we enrich people's lives in a plethora of tangible ways. Anyone is welcome to share in these gifts with us and we encourage anyone with gifts they wish to share to bring their vision to our table.
